Three sisters live in Washington D.C.

By day they are Kira, Juliette and Astrid you see

They play and take walks around the city.

By night they are super heros.

Kira and Juliette have superhero costumes

Made from the dress up clothes in their rooms

With a tiny one for Astrid for when she ZOOMS.

During the day light they play

And go online for school with a touch of dismay.

When the sun goes down

And the family slumbers off to sleep

They don their costumes without a peep

And swing into action with a twirl and a leap.

Kira, the Super Lamb

Says that tonight the plan

Is to catch the thief who takes the candy

And leaves the kale because he is the CandyMan.

Juliette, the Super Kitty

Spots movement in the dark

Leaps into the air with a pretty smile

Sweeps her arms and legs in an arc.

The CandyMan tumbles off his feet

Dropping pilfered candy treats.

The goodies scatter in the air

Spinning and tumbling sweets here and there.

Super Astrid soars around the room.

She flashes in her superhero costume

Nabbing candy from the air

Saving the sweet treats from the broom.

Super Kira, Juliette, and Astrid

Hurl the CandyMan out!

Then, with the candy put safely away

They drift off to sleep at the end of another day.
